I am writing this post as I am looking for somebody to come and work with me as an assistant/intern. I’ll need someone who is free to work on around 3 to 4 shoots a month on a voluntary basis. I went to a rock & roll show with a broken camera. The shutter had stopped working properly, so out of the 8 rolls of film I shot, I got about 5 pictures back. This is one of them.. The boy is Salvatore, he's really beautiful. He plays guitar for Jake Allen & The Hightone Rumblers.

I spent this afternoon printing in the darkroom. The hands belong to a guy called Terry who drove the Winnebago a magazine hired out for a shoot I did just before Christmas. He was a rockabilly and was so interesting. I grabbed him when we stopped for lunch to take his picture. He told me he'd had the swallows tattooed there after his twin daughters were born.

I processed a few mystery rolls of 35mm the other day ('mystery' meaning I never label anything), and this was on one of them. I'd forgotten I'd even taken any black and white that day.

A couple more pictures from Italy. These were taken on a break from our drive from Porto Torres to Olbia in Sardinia. We stopped at a little café that was right on top of a hill. It was so warm and beautiful, and people had carved their names into the biggest cactus which was nice. It looks like my pictures got quite scratched when they were developed!

I bought a bunch of James Dean books from the car boot sale a while ago, and a fan magazine from 1956 called 'The Real James Dean Story' was inside one. I just had a look through it, it's got some really nice stills and story boards of his films, and a really good picture of Sal Mineo with a gun.

I have been really awful at blogging of late, if anybody is reading this, I'm sorry!
